Our View:

Remember the show ‘Cardcaptor Sakura’? Remember the little Girl Sakura who has to find all the Clow cards?! And her rival, Chinese boy Syaoran Li? Well, guess who’s back in this anime?! Tsubasa (Which means ‘Wings’) is CLAMP’s ultimate cross-over masterpiece! Every single manga ever written is in this series and has been turned into a very good anime! In this story, our little Sakura isn’t so little anymore. Now a teen, and quite a rebel princess at times throughout the story, she goes off to visit her friend, Syaoran, a young archaeologist, whom she has known ever since they were kids! Unfortunately, "Fate" has a different plan for the two of them. Unknowingly, Sakura is somehow connected tothe Clow Ruins and eventually loses her memory in the form of beautiful feathers. Unless the feathers are gathered back together, Sakura will die and thus Syaoran vows to find them all. Well, sorry to say that these feathers won’t be easy to find - they lie in different worlds, where people who find them first will either gain the feather’s great power for good or for evil. In order to save Sakura, Syaoran makes a pact with the "Dimensional Witch" in order to gain the ability to travel through worlds – but for a heavy price. On his journey, he gained allies; one unwilling to return to his own world called Kurogane, the other named Fai who prefers no to return to his. The group journey through many different worlds to find the missing feathers along with the witch's subordinate, Mokona Modoki, small and cute creature who acts as the one who detects the presence of the feathers. However, unknown to them, there’s a greater darkness that follows their every footstep along the way. If you’re into action-packed stories, or even ones full of romance, promise, hope, angst, comedy, or any genre at all, really… Tsubasa is definitely for you! You’ll be drawn to the characters immediately and absolutely adore little Mokona!
